Every Wednesday, we visited schools outside Udon Thani. At first, I wasn't thrilled; they were really far away. The journey itself showed just how different these schools were from city schools. But these trips turned out to be the best part of my time in Thailand. I learned so much about teaching, about students, and about life. I saw how everyone finds their own way to deal with things, even when things are hard. These farm schools were amazing. The kids weren't just reading books; they were learning how to live. Their lessons were all about farm life. They learned to sell things like bananas and mushrooms, all in English. But the thing is it wasn't just about English; it was about running a business and understanding farming too.

They did everything – planting, harvesting, looking after the animals. They were learning important life skills along with their schoolwork. It taught them to be independent and to work together. It was so inspiring to see how resourceful and tough they were, It showed me how important it is to make learning real and useful. They were learning by doing, and that made all the difference. I'll never forget how much they taught me about hard work, community, and finding ways to make things work, even when resources are limited. It made me rethink everything I thought I knew about school and about life.
