About Me

Being part of the 10th batch of the SEA student exchange program was a wonderful experience for me, Nicole Lyn R. Calagos, a 22-year-old student from Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City. I grew up with the same friends, so meeting lots of different people was new and a little scary at first. I wasn't comfortable speaking in front of others either. It wasn't until high school that I started to step outside my comfort zone. That's when I decided I wanted to be a teacher.

The exchange program helped me so much. I learned to speak up and share my ideas. I met amazing people from all over, learning about their lives and cultures. It was so much fun, and it made me even more sure that teaching is the right path for me. I made great friends, and I'll never forget the things I learned and the people I met. It was a really big step for me, and I'm so glad I did it. The whole experience has given me so much confidence, and I feel ready to take on new challenges.
